SIM Czechia Regional Office Leadership and Services

A regional office based in Czechia, we facilitate the mobilisation, sending, and receiving of workers for Central and Eastern Europe. We also provide services for the Central Asian region for legal reasons. We are a growing multi-ethnic, multi-lingual team speaking primarily in Czech, English, Slovak, Polish, and Russian. Our goal is to develop the capacity to send and support 50-100 workers by 2026.

We need someone who can come alongside the women and help them develop the products they make and then sell them. It may be that they need help to write a business plan to get a loan to start a business. We may also need someone to assist them with market research. The worker could also develop connections with other NGO’s and Christian organisations doing this kind of thing.

Reaching, Teaching and Discipling Youth

You can have an eternal impact among young people in a country with deep needs and in which nearly 50 per cent of the population are children. SIM Nigeria has opportunities for teacher trainers and mentors, support workers for teachers in rural schools, work with at-risk children, ESL teachers, and teachers for front-line mission worker children. We also need skllled tradespeople to help young people with vocational training, which can provide them with life skills and hope for the future and also great opportunities for evangelism and discipleship among those being trained. Likewise, those with a background in sports and coaching are needed to help reach and disciple youth through the international ministry of Sports Friends.

Ministering to People through Christ-Centered Health Care

Are you a doctor, nurse, dentist, physiotherapist, health educator, occupational therapist, speech therapist, or allied health care worker looking to bring Christ's healing touch to people in great need? SIM Nigeria has many opportunities in hospitals, clinics — in cities and in rural areas with limited access to health care — and schools for you to use your professional skills to make a difference in the physical and spiritual lives of people. Your professional skills are needed to provide practical, day-to-day support to mission workers and so allow ministry to flourish. Servants are needed in administrative leadership, finance, management, people care, office support, construction, information technology, website development and communications.

Reaching Young People

Come and join us to reach the children and young people of the Lebanon! Nearly half the region’s population is aged 24 or younger, and we long to see this generation encounter Jesus, respond to his call and become effective members of his church and witnesses for him. We work mainly in urban contexts, serving with local Christians in church programmes, formal and informal education, youth and student work and through sport. There are opportunities for qualified teachers at both elementary and secondary level, teachers’ assistants, ESL teachers, youth workers, and vocational trainers.

Working with local church leaders and church members to show how sports can be a useful tool for evangelism and discipleship. Providing training in leadership, sports coaching and mentoring, to equip churches to carry out this ministry. The ministry also requires various supporting and administrative roles.

Quechua Outreach Ministry

We work alongside local churches and organisations, to support their ministries of evangelism, church planting, discipleship/leadership training, biblical training, social action. We need people with a wide range of gifts who can work with these churches to reach the rural Quechua people with the good news of Jesus.

We equip churches to invest in young people, offering training and mentoring for youth leaders, and equipping young people for mission. We also work in schools and universities, doing outreach and discipleship, and offering sexual education training.
