Youth Leader Training

The aim of this project is to train and inspire leaders to see that they are not alone. We desire to increase spiritual unity by offering personal mentoring, advice and training to local youth leaders, helping them start new initiatives, and as they face different challenges in their ministries.

Come and Serve

Trainers and Mobilisers - We are looking for people with a passion to mentor and walk alongside Uruguayan youth leaders, empowering them toward spiritual vitality and outreach in their communities.

Prayers

1

Pray for the leaders attending our trainings to gain the capacity to serve in the transformation of the new generations of Uruguay.

2

Pray for the team of Uruguay coaches that at present are in training with the target to carry the ministries more to the Interior of Uruguay.

3

Pray for the National Youth Leaders Summit organised by SIM to meet its vision to serve the hundreds of youth leaders.

4

Pray for the Institute for Youth Leaders, that the students could learn and work together regardless of their denomination.

Stories about this ministry

From nations to the nations

The SIM South Sudan Harvest Worker project is helping mobilise those who are ready to go to serve in South Sudan

An audience of 150,000 and growing

For gifted evangelists such as Getachew, the movement of 16 different Sudanese tribes from hard to reach areas into a single refugee area presents a wonderful opportunity. It's an opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with many more people.

Misheel’s university students present Christmas

Lecturer and SIM worker, Misheel, had the chance to answer questions about the gospel, all because her students chose an astonishing subject for their group projects: Christmas.

Going to stay: Demystifying the lives of missionary mothers

Are stay-at-home missionary moms really “missionaries”? Does their sometimes exhausting work on behalf of their families negate their role in building the Kingdom of God?

A new wave of Latino missionaries

Nearly every Latino candidate I meet wants to work in the unreached places of the world and do some of the hardest work. God is raising up a new wave of missionaries in South America, and we are joyfully equipping them for service and sending them to these unreached areas.

A ceramic community and God’s perfect providence

Cera is a small ceramic community in the rural area of Loja Province. Read more about how God brought the Barbee family there to launch a missional business with a small group of believers who are eager to make an impact in their own community.
