Changing the world starts with one camper

International

Throughout Scripture, God frequently chooses the weak and despised of this world for His glorious purposes. “But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong” (1 Corinthians 1: 27).

We see this, too, in the Sports Friends ministry as God has powerfully worked through children and young people over the years.

We have witnessed God use a single camper to transform an entire village for His fame. And it all began with a week at camp. Sports Friends camps seek to foster an environment of safety, nurture and love that often stands in stark contrast to the day-to-day reality for many youth around the world.

The love of Christ is so inviting, so comforting, so strengthening and many are impacted for all eternity. This impact trickles down to families and communities as youth return home and live out of the love they have received. Parents will even call coaches to tell them of changes in how their child is handling certain life situations or responding differently to struggles at home. It’s a privilege to see, and we give all the glory and praise to God!

Consider giving to Sports Friends

Could you send one young person or more to camp this summer to hear about the life-changing love of Jesus Christ? Gifts of all sizes will make a huge impact.
