Medical Health Care

Potosí, a mining town more than 13,000 feet metres above sea level, is home to many vulnerable and at-risk families who face a variety of medical challenges. A lack of affordable, quality health care further complicates the high medical morbidity and mortality rates. Our team interacts with these families by providing medical care in an outpatient clinic, called Allinta Ruwana, and also works with local churches and their ministries. Our passion is to point people to the Great Physician as we serve as his hands and feet. We would love to invite you to join our team if you are a physician, nurse, physical therapist, counsellor or social worker who has a heart for sharing the hope of Christ with the most vulnerable. In Potosí, a city which stands at 13,000 feet above sea level, mining is one of the major industries. Those who go down the mines enter one of the darkest places on earth, physically and spiritually. We want to let them know that even where the sun cannot reach them, they are still within the reach of God’s love. Our desire is that they may know the power of the gospel and that their lives would be filled with the hope of the Lord of heaven and earth. We long to see the children and families of Potosí, Bolivia, flourishing spiritually, emotionally and physically. Our prayer is to use the skills and professions that God has given us as a vehicle to meet physical and emotional needs and lead people to Christ. Potosí, a mining town located at over 13,000 feet above sea level, is home to many families experiencing alcoholism, intra-family violence, abuse, and medical morbidity and mortality. Some of the least reached with the Gospel and most vulnerable and at-risk in Potosí include the deaf and hard of hearing, the mining community, and those with other disabilities. Our team currently interacts with vulnerable and at-risk families by providing medical care in an outpatient clinic and working with local churches and their ministries. Next Generation

We long for all the children and young people in Benin to have a personal encounter with Jesus. Given at least 40 per cent of the population is under 14, this is no easy task! We are looking for outgoing, French-speaking people who love young people and are willing to work alongside the local church and para-church organisations so that more of Benin’s next generation might hear the truths of the Bible. We need people to help equip and encourage leaders to run children’s clubs, people to use sport as a platform to build relationships and share gospel hope, and people to invest in the lives of university students. Another vital need is school teachers to help grow and encourage a biblical worldview of education.

Potosí is a mining town located at over 13,000 feet above sea level. In a city where the worship of idols is encouraged, we long to see professionals exercise their profession to the glory of God by reaching others with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Our team currently interacts with other professionals through one-on-one mentorship within a medical clinic where we attempt to model excellent care including how to incorporate faith into our daily practice. There is currently no on-campus ministry to students happening in Potosí, but we would love to see an on-campus ministry as well as career-specific mentoring and Bible studies start to take place. Sports Friends International

Sports Friends works in 19 countries and ministers to almost 300,000 young people through the powerful platform of sport. Our mission is to equip churches and church planters to use sport to make disciples of Jesus Christ among young people, their families and their communities. We believe sports ministry is a powerful tool for the church to build relationships and share the gospel hope. We provide training for church partners, with those attending becoming coaches in their communities. These “life coaches” are mentoring and loving young people, walking with them through life’s challenges, and helping them become mature disciples. We need people who have a passion for sports and young people, but it’s not essential for many of the roles within Sports Friends. Vocational Training to Transform Unreached Communities

We need people interested in delivering vocational training who have experience in various trades, business and practical life skills who are passionate about reaching unreached communities. If you are an experienced plumber, electrician, air conditioner repair person, pipe fitter, mechanic, builder, solar installer, seamstress or tailor there is a place for you in North Africa. You will work to teach and train others in your skillset, passing on your knowledge while also teaching integrity and other life skills. Long-term, a willingness to learn Arabic is essential but short-term is also welcome.

Church Planting

God is opening doors. Seeds have been planted. Now the people are responding. Come be a part of this harvest. The Yao people of northern Mozambique are a people closed to the gospel and without a strong community of believers. The direct goal of many on our team is to see the raising up of a vibrant church body among the Yao both in the city and in rural areas. We are looking for pioneers and adventurers willing to step into a culture and new language in order to reach a people group where God is at work.

Evangelism through Community Development

Combat poverty. Educate. Reach the unreached. Change lives. We are utilizing various methods to engage with locals, both in the city and in the village, with "tools" to meet their needs while opening the door for relationships and direct gospel teaching, and eventually, new communities of believers. One of our main ministry efforts is Foundations for Farming. Come work with us and expand its reach. The fruit and tremendous impact of this ministry is incredible and we have seen life-changing fruit over and over among the communities where we have worked. It is more than a presentation. Other ventures are also welcome as we have no lack of opportunity in Moz.

We employ various ministry methods to develop relationships with young people in northern Mozambique in order to share God's love and redemption with this generation. We are currently have ministries in ministries, tutoring, English classes, Bible classes, and agricultural training. We are looking for self-starters to continue and expand these ministries as there is no lack of opportunity here. We also are calling others to begin new ministries to reach this vibrant and open group of unreached men and women.

Theological Education/Discipleship of Church Leaders

We seek to provide solid Biblical teaching and relational discipleship while also providing contextual training such as oral Bible storying as a way to grow in their relationship with Christ, to present the Gosgel, and as a crucial method in the discipleship of other believers. The opportunities are endless for discipleship and theological education as Mozambique is one of the least educated countries in Africa. A masters in theological education does not yet exist in country. In efforts to build up and train church leade - a theological training school in Lichinga, northern Mozambique. The vision is to impart a living faith in its students which will then bleed over into the churches. Ample opportunities to plug into this growing and flourishing project are crucial to the SIM Moz vision. Youth Specialties (e625): Next Generation Discipleship

If you love the idea of organising attractive interdenominational youth leader gatherings, this ministry is for you! Recently transferred to full Uruguayan leadership, e625 (Youth Specialties) puts on workshops, retreats, regional conferences and a national summit for next generation leaders from all over Uruguay. Christian workers from dozens of types of churches come together to give and receive ideas, to be equipped by compelling speakers and to enjoy community with fellow ministers for the gospel.
