Equipping Churches
Helping the church identify opportunities for growth and to pursue new areas of ministry. This includes church planting, mobilisation of mission workers and care of members. We need people gifted in inter-personal skills, administration, or simply with a heart to serve the local church.
Compassion Ministry of Ecuador
Join our team of six mission workers and local volunteers in sharing Biblical principles with Christians and non-Christians in practical areas of life. Our focus is to help low-income vulnerable families develop skills to manage personal income, improve their business to increase income, and improve relational and emotional skills so they are more resilient in facing inevitable life crisis. Current workshops offered include personal finances, business finances, and healing past emotional wounds. We have begun urban gardens, organized food relief during COVID, built houses after an earthquake, and given housing assistance during a flood, with the purpose to build friendships and share the gospel as we go. We work alongside local churches and organizations to help them better serve their community and we train local facilitators to lead these practical Biblical based workshops. We are looking for persons who have a Biblical understanding of suffering and God’s redemption and can mentor others to grow in basic life skills. They must have a life integrated with scriptural principles, relate well with others, and work well in a team.
Equipping the persecuted church for mission
Our team has long-term experience and relationships living, serving among and worshipping with the persecuted church in Asia. In urban megacities and rural village ministry, we are helping to train the next generation of church planters, evangelists and mission workers. We need youth ministers willing to work with college students and those who've never learned to read or write; Bible teachers for grassroots first-generation students, and seminary professors for the Master's and Bachelor's levels; women's workers for domestic abuse shelters, and for vibrant local church ministries. We'd love you to join us!
Mission Mobilising and Sending
To turn Malawian mission field into a Mission Force by mobilising the Church, identifying, equipping, mentoring and sending Malawian missionaries into cross-cultural ministry among unreached communities which live and die without Jesus Christ.
Training Church Leaders and Discipleship
By faith, we seek to train leaders and workers so they can in turn train the church effectively to fulfil the Great Commission.
University Ministry
We use a variety of metho to reach out to university students so they hear and understand the gospel and come to faith in Christ. These include building personal relationships and teaching English, to disciple believers who will become witnesses in their family and community.
SIM Thailand Sending
You would help mobilise Thai believers and churches to engage in global mission by sending, supporting and praying for cross-cultural workers. Join in selecting, training, sending and caring for Thai workers who are already serving.
SIM Thailand Leadership and Services
Join a team of leaders and administrators who seek to inspire, develop others and lead by example. Use your gifts and skills to support and equip personnel and ministries in Thailand. We seek to work in ways which are relational and culturally appropriate, while exemplifying a commitment to prayer. Opportunities exist in general administration, finance, project management, personnel, leadership and more.
Mobilization
We want to see an increasing number of churches equipped to train, send, and sustain ministry workers focused on making disciples of those living and dying without the gospel.
Theological Education
We partner with the church to teach in centres of theological education, and provide programmes such as TEE (Theological Education by Extension). We also empower students to participate in these programmes. Could you serve as a teacher in one of these ministries?
