Francophone Ministry
SIM’s Francophone Ministry is a gospel-centred response to Canada’s largest unreached demographic. Rooted in deep love for Francophone communities, the ministry focuses on catalysing church planting, especially among youth in urban settings. It supports new churches through mobilising workers, student outreach, evangelism and discipleship, while exploring creative approaches such as sports ministry and digital platforms. SIM also seeks to work cross-denominationally, uniting believers and congregations around a shared vision for spiritual renewal and growth
Mobilisation
We are seeking to revitalise our organisation by recruiting younger staff and especially a younger mobiliser. The new mobiliser would be responsible for presenting about our work, especially to younger church audiences, and also engaging the next generation through publicity, seminars, internships, mentoring and mission trips. If this sounds like you, please contact the Singapore office.
Mobilisation
Deputations/preaching/mission display; internship for seminary students and potential workers; resourcing through consultation/partnership; equipping seminars
Desarrollo de Líderes
A two-year leadership mentoring programme based on the approach established by SIM is offered to a small cohort of high-impact pastors and church leaders. Qualified and capable mentors with lived experience in the region will be matched with these leaders and their spouses. The key components of SIM’s Global Leadership Development ministry are central to this approach - Leadership Images, Mentors, Self-Directed Development and Community Learning.
Church-based partnership ministry in Czechia
The Czech Republic is a beautiful country in the heart of Central Europe. Despite a rich history of Christianity, it is currently one of the most gospel-poor countries in Europe, with atheism and eastern religions both on the upswing. Evangelical Christians represent less than one per cent of the population, and we have only two growing evangelical denominations. Czech people are welcome and open, however, and there is the freedom to share the gospel of Jesus, with many opportunities to serve. You can join a church-based partnership ministry and serve in many creative ways to kids, youths, young adults, seniors, people with addiction, socially disadvantaged people, and more.
Mission Leadership
Our aim is to provide visionary leadership and excellent support to the workers and staff of SIM Bolivia. If you have experience in leadership or administration and have overseas ministry or work experience, please consider this opportunity. A good level of Spanish, or a willingness to learn Spanish, is necessary. You must be willing to adapt to Bolivian culture and work with Bolivian administrative staff and workers in service of our multi-ethnic team of mission workers. You will relate to SIM workers and national church leadership.
