Mobilising for Missions
Come and join our international and multi-cultural team as we serve in a rural community in South Sudan. We work alongside the local population as well as a large refugee community. We are looking for people who love the Lord and have a passion for sharing the good news with others. We need those gifted in writing our stories about what God is doing in South Sudan, media workers such as photographers and videographers, and mobilisers to help add more workers to join our team. You may also join us as a prayer partner! We welcome short-term mission workers as well as those looking to serve long-term. We need new team members to join us who are interested in South Sudan and have skills and gifts to add value to our team, even if only for a season. We long to see more workers join us in our work in South Sudan!
Mobilizing Kenyan Churches for Mission
There is a fast-growing desire among young believers in some evangelical churches for outreach, disciple-making, and church planting in communities where Christ is least known. More voluntary self-supported local mission workers have started to step out and some evangelical churches have started to send local mission workers to communities where Christ is least known. SIM Kenya aspires to mobilises Kenyan churches for cross-cultural ministries, locally and globally, by recruiting ministry associates; providing short-term cross-cultural ministry training; and developing a cross-cultural ministry training centre. If you could help with any of these, we'd love to hear from you.
Supporting Kenyan Nomadic Churches
Formerly named 'Equipping Kenyan Churches for Mission', this ministry engages Kenyan churches through training and resource mobilisation to create committed and accountable partners.
Ministering to People through Christ-Centered Health Care
Are you a doctor, nurse, dentist, physiotherapist, health educator, occupational therapist, speech therapist, or allied health care worker looking to bring Christ's healing touch to people in great need? SIM Nigeria has many opportunities in hospitals, clinics — in cities and in rural areas with limited access to health care — and schools for you to use your professional skills to make a difference in the physical and spiritual lives of people. We partner with Nigerian professionals in a variety of settings to train, mentor and disciple healthcare workers as well as offer direct care to people in need. Talk to us to find out more.
Somali Ministry
Our Somali Ministry provides global access to written, audio and visual resources explaining the gospel in the Somali language. Enhancing gospel communication by developing evangelistic and discipling relationships with visitors corresponding by email and social media. Bingham Academy
Bingham Academy provides quality Christian education within a multicultural community, developing students of integrity who can change the world for God’s glory.
Leadership and Services
By faith, we see our workers and their ministries flourishing, working in teams which are given excellent member care and administrative support. We are looking for administrative help in our Ecuador office, to help the director and others better support SIM workers.
English Teaching Centre
We are looking for native English speakers to join our team in a large city, teaching English as an additional language to university students and others. Classes are based around a secular curriculum but you would have opportunities to share wisdom from the Bible and discuss with students. You can also facilitate 'drop-in' sessions on discussion topics of your choice. You will get to know students better and build friendships through our social events and day camps. This work provides great opportunities to interact with open-minded, inquiring young people and share the message of the Bible with them in culturally appropriate ways!
Local church involvement
The Senegalese church is growing, especially among young people. We seek to be active members of local churches, supporting them by regular attendance, in prayer, and by helping with different teaching and discipling ministries as opportunities arise. Talk to us to find out how you could serve.
Missionary Kid (MK) Care
This ministry seeks to teach the children of mission workers. If you are a teacher used to working in a variety of settings and with a wide age range of children, we would love to hear from you.
