What role do you have to play in sharing the gospel?
As Christians, we’re called to share the good news of Jesus. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus says, “Go and make disciples of all nations…” This isn’t a task for a select few, but a calling for all who follow Him.
“Go and make disciples of all nations…”
The heart of the gospel
The gospel is the story of a God who created us for glory and relationship with Him. But because of our sin, we turned away, separating ourselves from a holy God. In His grace and mercy, He sent His only son, Jesus, who died for our sins. His death and resurrection made a way for us to be restored to God so that we can walk with Him, now and forever. Through this restored relationship, we can experience true freedom, love and the fullness of life He intended for us.
When mission feels far from everyday life
Let’s be honest. Many of us, especially young people, can feel unsure or disconnected from what it really means to share the gospel beyond our immediate circles. Maybe you would like to go overseas but wonder whether you’re the kind of person God could use, or how your skills and experiences fit into His bigger plan? Perhaps you feel drawn to reach communities who’ve never heard the gospel, but you’re not sure where to start or what that could look like in practice?
Real stories
That’s why we’re sharing stories from mission workers across SIM. People using their gifts to share the gospel in different ways. We hope these stories inspire to consider what mission might look like for you, wherever you are.
We invite you to watch the videos, read the stories, share them with others, ask questions and reflect on what speaks to you most.
You have a role
You were created on purpose and for a purpose. The call to engage in mission is for all of us; whether it’s to pray, give financially, serve oversees and or encourage your local church to support a mission worker.
