Spiritual Landscape in South Sudan
There is a significant Christian population in South Sudan, with more than 60 per cent of the population identifying as followers of Jesus. Most of the rest are followers of traditional religion, but there is a small Muslim population too. However, there has been a significant influx of refugees from conflicts in the region and few of them have any knowledge of Jesus.

- For God’s word to be proclaimed across the region we serve and for many to come to know Jesus as Saviour and Lord of their lives
- For growth within the local churches and for them to send workers into God’s harvest field
- For an increased desire within the local church to know and experience God
- For God’s provision for our various ministries
- For spiritual as well as physical healing for those affected by ongoing conflict and social unrest
- For our team to not grow weary in doing good and that they would experience God’s presence in a new and exciting way
- For those who have committed their lives to Christ to know his love like never before
- For an end to the conflict in Sudan and for the people of Upper Nile State to live in peace and harmony with one another
