SIM Latinoamérica

Our SIM Latinoamérica team seeks to mobilise the Spanish-speaking church in South and Central America into global mission, walking alongside local churches as they send and support workers to communities who do not know Christ.

Key Ministries

  • Serve as the sending entity for Latino mission workers to SIM entities.
  • Mobilise Latin churches to engage in mission-focused prayer, giving, recruitment, sending and care of Latino mission workers.

Spiritual Landscape in Latinoamérica

There is a significant Christian population in Latin America and it is in this community that we work, seeking to inspire them into global mission. We work alongside churches to inspire, equip and support Latin workers in ministries across the world.

Communities Where Christ is Least Known

Each year, more Latinos get involved in mission work among the nations. We pray SIM can be an instrument of God to facilitate candidates going into mission work. The focus of the Latin American missions movement is the unreached peoples of the world.

We praise God for opening doors for Latinos with SIM to serve among female brothel workers in Africa; among Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist people groups in Asia; and among immigrant Muslims in Spain.

Please pray

  • For team life and adjustment for our mission workers in their countries of service
  • For finances needed for our Latino workers
  • For a strong prayer network in Spanish for SIM work and SIM Latinoamérica workers
  • For good collaboration and strength for our administrative staff, who work virtually from different countries
  • For our resources: the Vamos (Let’s Go) and Movilicemos (Let’s Mobilise His Church) programmes are key ministry resources that challenge and encourage the Latin American church in God’s mission
  • For the development of mobilisers for SIM in each of the 19 Spanish-speaking countries of Latin America
