Far more people pass through the doors of clinics and hospitals each day than the doors of churches. Come and use your healthcare skills in this mainly Muslim context and see lives impacted as you offer compassionate, holistic care in Christ's name. Our patients are usually open to prayer and there are opportunities to share gospel truths in response to their needs. We are also looking for those who can help local staff with professional development.

We long to see the children and families of Potosí, Bolivia, flourishing spiritually, emotionally and physically. Our prayer is to use the skills and professions that God has given us as a vehicle to meet physical and emotional needs and lead people to Christ. Potosí, a mining town located at over 13,000 feet above sea level, is home to many families experiencing alcoholism, intra-family violence, abuse, and medical morbidity and mortality. Some of the least reached with the Gospel and most vulnerable and at-risk in Potosí include the deaf and hard of hearing, the mining community, and those with other disabilities. Our team currently interacts with vulnerable and at-risk families by providing medical care in an outpatient clinic and working with local churches and their ministries. We would love to invite you to join our team if you are a physician, nurse, physical therapist, occupational therapist, speech therapist, dentist, know sign language, counselor, social worker, teacher, pastor, engineer, construction worker, have mining experience, safety officer, coach, sustainability/community development specialist, or if you have a heart for sharing the hope of Christ with the most vulnerable in Potosí. You'll be working in a defined geographical area on the streets of Cape Town alongside the local church. The women we engage with are mixed races from three language groups and aged from 15 to 50. As we journey with them we are involved with their families (often children and sometimes extended family).

Ministry to the Quechua once required travel to distant and difficult-to-access villages. But the urban population has exploded as rural Quechuas have moved to cities for the opportunities afforded there. Churches in peri-urban areas where SIM workers minister need Bible teaching and help to reach their Quechua neighbours of all generations for Jesus Christ. Ministry opportunities include oral Bible teaching, social work to equip local churches to minister to challenges in their churches and communities and Sports Friends (See our Sports Friends entry for details). Community kids’ clubs, church-based children’s ministry, friendship evangelism, discipleship, mentoring and tutoring youth are ministry options. The Bolivian church is following its call to mission near and far, and sending workers where the gospel is least known. To help meet the need for Bible formation, SIM Bolivia is seeking qualified seminary teachers who are passionate about discipling and equipping students to assume leadership in local churches, gospel ministries and for mission. Workers must demonstrate a willingness to learn a high level of Spanish, acquire cultural insight and be able to partner with local Bolivian leaders. There are opportunities in seminary and non-institutional training. God is raising Bolivians with a clarion call for church planting and mission in Bolivia’s capital city, La Paz However, it is a challenge for them to find training and support from their local churches. The SIM La Paz team longs for God to establish a coalition of Bolivian churches which is biblically and financially committed to planting gospel-focused, disciple-making, missional churches. For this reason, we are providing training for church planters and their wives, as well as training for churches to ignite missional, life-on-life discipleship movements in their congregations so they can send out mature and equipped believers who are passionate about declaring and demonstrating the gospel, whether across the street or around the world. The SIM La Paz team needs discipleship and church-planting trainers and a person to mobilise churches and individual believers toward missional living and giving.

The Ruhr area, located in the federal state of Northrhine-Westfalia, is the largest metropolitan area in Germany. It has a population of 5.1 million and is spread over 53 cities. It has the highest migrant density in Germany, from every nation. In our conservative evangelical international church plant we need faithful preachers, servants and house meeting group leaders who can give discipleship to new believers. We also have outreach groups, who run book tables, and need evangelists to lead new people from all nations to faith in Jesus.

Germany is the number one European country for refugees and migrants, particularly in the Catholic city of Munich in the south, where about one quarter of the inhabitants (1.5 million people) are migrants. Arab people also come for hospital treatment or recreation. More workers are urgently needed! We want to see new international churches for the migrants in Munich and to support the already-running ministries. We have a lot of socially-oriented work, including homework help for schoolchildren, music lessons, creative art courses, food care for the poor, youth and children's work, and ministry to adults. All of these point people to Jesus. Evangelists are very much needed in Munich, as are people who can organise and coordinate teams of up to 30 volunteers.

As a theological educator and gifted Bible teacher, you will help equip the Thai church to evangelise, make disciples, teach, plant churches and engage in mission.

The mandate of the International Fellowship of Christians (IFC) pastor is to build IFC as a missional church, equipping and sending disciples of Christ into the world as ambassadors of Christ with hearts of love and service. We need people who can disciple English-speaking believers in Abidjan.
