Reaching rural elderly people
Partner with the local Faith Hope Love foundation in their ministry stations, organising programmes and home visits to elderly people in rural Taiwan.
Migrant labors ministry
There are currently 700,000 migrant labors in Taiwan, from Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, and Thailand. Churches in Taiwan do not know how to reach out to them due to language and culture differences. They are more responsive to gospel as they are in foreign country. It is difficult to get missionary visas to some of their home countries so we should reach out to them when they are in Taiwan. We need missionaries from their home countries to reach out to them in Taiwan.
Equipping the SIM Team and Partners
Serve to the best of our God-given abilities in administration and leadership, enabling our team to focus on their ministries; supporting others to allow them to serve in their respective giftings.
Gospel Outreach
To implement a well thought-out ministry model to make disciples in the communities where Jesus is least known, through existing church partnerships or pioneering church planting.
Community Development
To implement well-planned and positive actions that address the felt and actual needs within communities and bring about positive transformation.
Church Engagement
To develop a well thought-out model for Christian ministry personnel development, missional leadership development and theological education.
Equipping the Church for Mission through Business as Mission
Many Christian traders, employees and entrepreneurs do not know their daily work matters to God. They are his ambassadors for Christ in and through their work, Genesis 1:28, 2:15, Matthew 25:14-30, and Matthew 28:18-20. Our ministry aims to train and mentor this 'missing' frontline army of God in the northern regions of Ghana that God values them and that their daily work is to worship him and is missional.
Medical and student ministry
We mentor young learners to be disciples of Christ and to use their professional skills for kingdom-building. This can be done by visiting lecturers in specialist topics and also by longer-term teaching staff in the university. We also work with Christian groups like the Christian Medical Fellowship.
OneLife Africa
OneLife Africa (OLA) focuses on the next generation of young leaders in high school, colleges and universities. OLA offers educational support to bright and needy students, discipling them through life decisions and equipping them to serve Christ in their spheres of influence. The OLA youth campus based in Kabarak, Nakuru County, runs holiday camps for high school, college and university students as well as a three to six=month residential gap-year programme for pre-university students. The six evangelistic camps per year occur over the Kenya high school holiday breaks. Camps are open to sponsored OLA students, young people from partnering churches and communities. The LEAD gap year programme draws young leaders who have demonstrated leadership potential and want to grow in their faith in Christ. An estimated 700 students will come through the OLA youth campus each year.
