- Equipping believers for mission
Our vision is to see the Church led by godly people who are well trained in the Scriptures and are disciples making disciples. Ministry activities include Scripture translation, supporting church-run Bible schools, Christian literature development, media outreach and sports ministry. - Educating and equipping for opportunity
We desire to provide education to people who otherwise do not have access, whether due to expense, distance, safety, gender or location. We also provide opportunities for adults to receive specialized training such as English language learning, skills training or reading. - Christ-centred education
Education is a powerful tool to break the cycle of poverty, improving children’s survival rates, growth and development, and closing the gap of social inequality. Through several Christ-centered schools, we provide children with the opportunity to learn in a safe and Christian environment. - Alleviating suffering and fostering development
We demonstrate the love of Jesus in practical ways, opening doors to building relationships and sharing the Gospel. Working alongside the local church, we help internally displaced people, support those who are ill, handicapped, or vulnerable, and enlarge access to clean water. - Accompanying and supporting ministries and spiritual leadership
We strive to glorify God by providing member care, financial, administrative and technical services with a servant’s heart. We seek those with gifts in administration, IT support, accounting, human resources, communications, mechanics, handywork, and member care.
Spiritual Landscape in Burkina Faso
According to the Joshua Project, the major religions in Burkina Faso are Islam (55 per cent of the population), ethnic religions/animism (23 per cent) and Christianity (21 per cent). Almost a quarter of the population are members of one of the 27 unreached people groups in the country. While there is religious freedom, Christian believers often work among people heavily influenced by Islam or traditional African religions.
