The vision of SIM is to see a witness to Christ’s love where He is least known, disciples of Jesus expressing God’s love in their communities and Christ-centered churches among all peoples.

Convinced that no one should live and die without hearing God’s good news, we believe that He has called us to make disciples of Jesus Christ in communities where He is least known.

Communities where He is least known

Exploited and Trafficked People

“Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed” (Psalm 82:3). Those in our midst who are vulnerable to oppression and exploitation often include those who are poor, under-educated, female, young, disabled, minority, migrating, and excluded. These are the very people who are most likely to fall victim to human trafficking. Human Trafficking is the acquisition of people through force, fraud, threat, deception, or coercion with the aim of exploiting them in compelled labour or commercial sex acts, for the profit or gain of another. The victim is not free to leave their state of compelled service. Approximately 20 million people are victims of this type of exploitation worldwide, and are among us in every country in the world.
