  • EMS Retreat Center

We have created a beautiful place where EMS missionaries are invited for a training in the Word and prayer. In the kind of place where God’s beauty and holiness is sensed, they are soaked in His Master Plan for Mission work. Through this, they are encouraged to keep fighting a good fight for the mission work in a very tough situation. This is to equip the church for the Gospel. Christian organizations and churches also come and use the center for their spiritual retreats. The center is located in the border between a Christian dominant State and a Muslim dominant one that we are actively involved in reaching out to the surrounding communities bridging two groups together in peace. To meet the people’s need, we opened a primary school with 100 students presently. This is to reach out to the unreached and to prevent crisis. We also give clean drinking water to communities where Christians and Muslims agree to work together.

  • The Quechua

We long to see more urban indigenous people in Bolivia come into relationship with Jesus Christ. You can help by working with us to train indigenous church leaders to reach out to families who are living and dying without hearing of Jesus in these new Quechua communities and beyond.   We would love to fill four specific roles, each with Bible teaching at its heart:   A teacher who could train other teachers of all age groups to use oral Bible teaching methods. A sports coach or player who could train others to disciple young people through sport. A social worker or someone who has worked with at-risk people who could help equip the church to deal with some of the huge social problems they face. A mining or industrial safety specialist who could forge relationships with the mining cooperatives, helping make them safer places to work and sharing the knowledge of Christ.   If any of those roles sounds like you, then please get in touch. We would love to tell your more about what they would look like in practice, about the church in Bolivia and about how you could come and join this vital ministry.

  • Anti-Human Trafficking - For Freedom of Nigeria -

For Freedom of Nigeria is the anti-trafficking and exploitation ministry of SIM Nigeria, responsible for coordinating SIM Nigeria's anti-trafficking response and for providing training, support and strategic guidance to SIM workers, local churches and partner ministries in Nigeria. For Freedom of Nigeria is focused on the prevention of human trafficking and the protection of those most at risk in Nigeria. For Freedom of Nigeria believes that at its core, human trafficking is about the exploitation of vulnerability. By addressing core causes of vulnerability, people and communities are kept safe from exploitation and the risk of trafficking. Isolated, unconnected individuals are at greatest risk of being trafficked. The local community and the local church has a key role in preventing human trafficking by building relationships and caring for the vulnerable in their communities in a multitude of God-inspired ways. “The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Luke 4:18-19 (NIV)
