Youth Ministry

Ministries among teenagers are not very common in Burkina, despite the fact that they need to hear about Jesus in a personal way that will lead them to accept Him as their Savior and Lord. CDR (Culture de Royaume), literally “Culture of the Kingdom," is an SIM ministry gathering young people from the surrounding churches of Mahadaga, to encourage them to follow Christ and be witnesses in their community. This is what Yubéli, who founded CDR, says:

'Our vision is to see mature young people know God and live according to biblical principles. Our goal is also discipleship; training youth so that one day they can also train others and pass on what they have received. We want to see young people who make a difference in their schools, homes, community, etc.; who are obviously different, and who can impact and influence others because of this.'

To support this project, donate to the closest SIM office and mention: Project Nr. 93940

Prayers

1

Pray for the young people to understand God's call for them, and that they may live God's Word.

2

Pray to encourage the leaders and for the development of CDR in other villages.
