Christian Camp Ministry

Our hope is to see the SIM Paraguay camp ministries expand. Camp is an important tool in reaching and discipling youth and leaders in Paraguay.  Our goal is to develop more effective camps for growth and outreach, utilizing the location, size and design of the camp property and buildings. 

The camp situated just south of Villarrica provides a more convient location for rural church plants while still being accessible from the capital Asuncion. The camp is being designed to host larger groups including to family camps, youth camps and our annual leadership retreat. 

Come and Serve

Camp Coordinator/Administrator

This position is for someone able to serve +3 years. The Camp Coordinator will oversee camp-related ministries such as youth camp, family camp, leadership retreats, etc. They will work with local pastors, other SIM missionaries and a Paraguyan caretaker that lives on the camp grounds. The Coordinator will also oversee further development of the property. There is an opportunity in a nearby community for bible study and church planting. This position requires Spanish and Guarani language training.  

VBS/Childcare

This is a short term opportunity lasting from one week to one month.

Support the work in Paraguay by caring for missionary families, providing childcare or VBS during Family camp or annual Team trainings. There is also a possiblity of partnering with a local church plant and SIM missionary to put on a VBS for Paraguayan youth.

Work Projects

Can you build, dig or repair? Come serve anywhere from a week to a month or more!
