Communities where Christ is least known
Migrants and refugees SIM Switzerland has traditionally sent people from Switzerland into the “mission field” overseas, but we are facing a new challenge. Migrants are coming from all over the world, seeking refuge in Switzerland and throughout Europe. Most come from a non-Christian background and have never heard the Gospel.
Some are from a Christian background and have fled because of persecution. European Christians, churches and mission organisations need wisdom to know how to best minister amongst migrants, in collaboration with each other and with the government.
Postmodern generation
Our postmodern generation is growing up without a Christian heritage or biblical teaching. Life has become public through online platforms, and everything is spontaneous and relative. Still, people are looking for values and meaning. Pray for those who have not yet heard of Him, and for Christians to live authentic lives full of passion for Christ. Pray that many would come to know the One who is worthy to be followed.
