Planting and Strengthening Rural Churches

In this ministry we aim to see a church planting movement that reproduces communities of Jesus followers in least-reached areas of rural Loja. We aim to serve these communities by implementing creative and compassionate ways to reach people with the gospel. We also hope to equip the rural church in discipleship and to train leaders to multiply themselves.

Come and Serve

Rural Church Planters: Building relationships with local people, sharing the gospel and starting Bible studies.
Children's Worker in Rural Areas: Developing a ministry to children and training church members in children's ministry.
Rural Youth Worker: Creating safe, fun activities where young people can be together to open doors for evangelism and discipleship, as well as training local believers in youth ministry.
Men's Formation and Discipleship, Rural: Using the talents God has given men for evangelism and discipleship; modelling examples of Christian singles, husbands, and fathers.
English Ministry, Rural: Teaching primary and high school, or working through English teaching clubs to open doors in communities and reach people with the gospel.

Prayers

1

Pray for God’s Spirit to open the hearts of people to the Gospel and to tear down spiritual strongholds that hold captive the people in the rural areas of the Loja Province.

2

Pray for the very few believers and leaders in the rural areas, the forming of mature and multiplying disciples, and pray that God would give them strength and courage to be good testimonies and have unity with other churches.

3

Pray that our team would be faithful to seek and follow God’s direction to see which communities and people we need to focus on. Pray for protection during travel for those working in rural areas.

4

Pray for more workers who are passionate to share the Gospel and make disciples in the rural parts of the Loja Province.
