The church in Mongolia is one of the most rapidly growing churches in the world today and healthy church-growth requires quality leaders and pastors who are deeply rooted in the Word.

There are over 400 churches in Mongolia, but the church is asking the Lord for his help to plant many more. The goal is to have 4000 churches by 2020. In order to reach that goal, it is estimated that the Mongolian church needs to train over 310 pastors and evangelists every year.

Union Bible Theological College (UBTC) provides quality theological education and is the largest training school accredited by the Asia Theological Association. The school was founded in 1995 with 21 students from 16 churches. Mongolia had only been open to the Christian faith for five years and there was still considerable harassment necessitating four moves to different rented buildings. Finally in 1999, the current building was purchased. Now more than 110 students from 45 Mongolian churches study at the school. This expansion of the student population has been a wonderful answer to prayer because the greatest need in the Mongolian church is well trained pastors and leaders.

Currently the school is expanding its facilities to include a new library and chapel, which will make it possible to increase the dormitory space as well.
