"I was hungry and you fed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you carried me on your motorbike"
Last year, while Pastor Azindow was attending school outside his hometown, a man came looking for him in his village. The man asked a group of non-believers, "Where is the pastor?"
They answered, "Well, we have three pastors in this village, but the real and true pastor has gone away for school."
What made Azindow stand out as the "real" pastor? He has been instrumental in establishing eight SIM related churches in the Islamic region of the Dagomba and Konkomba people in the Northern Region of Ghana.
For twelve years he and his family have devoted their lives and resources to the proclamation of the Gospel. With the aid of his motorbike, Azindow has moved from village to village, often to places that cars can not travel, to share his faith.
His motorbike also serves as a means of transport to the hospital for the villagers. He has helped pregnant women get to the hospital for delivery and has had the sobering job of carrying corpses from the hospital back to the interior villages.
Azindow needs a new motorbike to continue to do his work as a pastor and evangelist. After nine-years, his bike has broken down. This has made his work very difficult.
