The Ditammaris have long resisted the good news of Jesus. Sacred places dot the countryside, and traditional ceremonies and practices reverberate with each beat of the drum. Adherents gather in Boukombe from all over Benin. Not long ago, they persecuted Christians and burned churches in the Boukombe area of Benin at the heart of the Ditamari culture.

However, the Lord is changing the situation through the Ditammari Christian radio programs of the Union des Eglises Evangéliques du Benin (UEEB), the church in Benin which relates to SIM. One pastor in Boukombe challenged his church members to listen to the broadcasts with their neighbors and discuss what they heard. A number have placed their faith and trust in the Lord.

Expansion of the Ditammari radio ministry would include releases on a local FM station in the heart of the Boukombe area.

Pray for God's provision to place programs on this additional FM station and for the Holy Spirit to continue to use this radio ministry to build His church among the Ditamari people of Benin.
