	Ana and Patricia, two Christian psychologists, want to serve the people living in Lima's shanty towns.

Peruvians Ana and Patricia are Christian psychologists with a vision to serve a community diminished by violence, drunkenness, broken marriages, and crime.

In the shanty towns of Lima, many people live in hopelessness and poverty. Through Christ-centred counselling, Ana and Patricia want to help them improve their lives.

Australian missionary Diane Porter is helping them start the Lima Counselling Centre. They will give workshops on parenting, marriage skills, and life skills. They will also provide an early learning centre for children six months to six years old.

The project will become self-sustaining after the initial set-up costs. Everyone who comes to the centre will be asked to pay something according to their ability. The services will cater for a variety of socio-economic levels.
