Montevideo Ministry Training Center (91160)
The Montevideo Ministry Training Center will strengthen and encourage the church of Uruguay. In the most secularized nation of Latin America, the Uruguayan church faces many challenges. Comprising less than five percent of the population, it is small and often divided by denominationalism. However, it is growing, and the society's increased interest in the transcendent is giving the church more opportunities to share the message of Christ. A Dream to Strengthen the Church
The SIM Uruguay team is establishing a training facility where Christians can come together to be encouraged and equipped to reach out to their secularized society and to the world. This project is for the construction of a ministry and training facility on a property that SIM Uruguay currently owns. It is in a prime location, just inside the limits of the capital city of Montevideo. The property is a beautiful piece of land where people can come away from the city to be with God and His people.
