Graduates such as Vascoe Pwakecheiga, Administrator of the Bible Training Center, are making an impact on the religious community of the nation. Now the college is ready to expand its influence. In August 2006, Maranatha Bible College will become Maranatha University College. By incorporating new programs such as a B.S. in Administration and a B.A. in Guidance and Counseling, the school will now also equip Christian leaders to serve in the marketplace. Students will be able to specialize in banking, finance, or human resource management, and they will be prepared serve competently, guided by biblical ethics. Transforming SocietyThe transformation of society is the mission of the Maranatha University College. The teachings of the Bible and the guiding principles of Integrity, Scholarship, and Competence >will shape the curriculum. Students will form a Christian perspective on running businesses, managing people, and resources. As these trained graduates move into the business sector of society, they will bring the influence of Christian values to a system that has often been riddled with corruption and mismanagement.
