Basha Enterprises Ltd is a growing social enterprise based in Bangladesh. Through dignified work, Basha provides a sustainable livelihood for women at risk and survivors of sex-trafficking. Women gain job skills and the opportunity to develop into leaders and entrepreneurs in a healthy, healing environment. Basha's primary product is textiles made from recycled sari cloth, hand-stitched using a traditional technique known as 'kantha'. Basha also has a smaller jewelry line and is researching other product possibilities. Products are currently sold in Bangladesh and exported to retailers in USA, Canada, Netherlands, Hong Kong, Denmark, and Australia. Having witnessed the transformation dignified work provides an exploited woman and her children, we are inspired to expand Basha further, and to help us do this we are looking for an Operations Manager.
