The churches on the island are developing programmes to train children of primary school age who are struggling to learn English, which they need to pass if they are to proceed to secondary education. This is a great opportunity to help the children, get them involved in church life, and use the Bible as a teaching aid. There will be ample opportunity to get involved in church ministries. You will also have the chance to build friendships with Mauritians from other faiths.
