Radio gospel ministry is a very effective method of sharing the message of Christ’s love and salvation in West Africa. Benin has 52 spoken languages, and the SIM partner churches reach 15 of these language groups. The vision of the SIM/UEEB (SIM's partner church) radio ministry is to “evangelize and disciple the listeners in their own language, to expand the reach of the gospel into villages and towns where there are no churches, and to equip the local church with a powerful evangelistic tool.” Radio reaches into isolated villages on the edge of the desert and into the homes and offices of thriving West African cities, crossing cultural and religious barriers that no missionary or evangelist could even approach.

In this role, you would partner with UEEB churches to mobilize church councils to support the radio ministry, you would supervise the ongoing ministry, evaluate broadcasts and listener acceptability, develop resources and new materials for broadcasting, and expand the vision to reach new language groups. You will also have financial oversight and management of the project, maintain contact with donor agencies and sponsors, and write project reports, radio newsletters, and other promotional material.
