ESPriT plays a vital role in the training of pastors and church leaders who work mainly in the Sahel region of West Africa. It is vital that these pastors and church leaders have a thorough understanding of the religion of the majority of the population around them. We need a professor of Islamics and missiology who can teach and mentor these pastors and church leaders to effectively reach, teach, and disciple those in the majority culture around them.
