Since 50% of Botswanans are under 15, it is a given that reaching children with the Gospel will be our highest priority. This outreach programme is an amazing opportunity to influence these children and young people for Christ and to lower the incidence of AIDS in this country.

The Botswana Schools Outreach HIV/AIDS Intervention Programme goes into Botswana Junior Secondary and Primary schools through their liaisons with the Ministry of Education regional office and with individual schools within the region.

They recruit and train young Batswana into teams that present the Botswana Schools Outreach curriculum at classroom level to school children. Further, they encourage children to come to faith in Christ, and they establish a follow-up ministry for such children by linking them to their school Christian group (usually Scripture Union) and suitable local church.
