Your professional medical skills are needed in South Sudan. The health needs of Sudan’s people are tremendous, and resources are minimal. Maternal mortality is the highest in the world; the heavy burden of infant and pediatric disease is barely touched.

The Doro clinic offers general medical outpatient and inpatient care as well as community health worker training, a "nutrition village," and community outreach. The health infrastructure of South Sudan has been shattered by years of war, and the medical clinic at Doro is a key part of the overall SIM project of “Rebuilding South Sudan: Church and Nation,” which includes health ministry, community evangelism, basic adult education, water and sanitation interventions, church leadership training, and a secondary school.
