The Koma and Ganza people groups have three small churches and three books of the Bible translated into their languages. You will organise and teach literacy classes for people in the churches and other preaching points, expanding into the wider community as appropriate.

Your role is vital for teaching church people and the wider community to read and understand these materials. The adult literacy rate in South Sudan is one of the lowest in the world, and we see literacy training as a vital part of our overall goals. This is a wonderful entry strategy into the community for anyone with a heart for discipleship. Literacy in English will be included as appropriate.
