HIV/AIDS is impacting all levels of society and family. SIM Malawi desires to impact the AIDS crisis through home based care, orphan care, prevention, and enablement of the church to respond to the crisis. In order to ensure the long term sustainability of HIV/AIDS interventions, a program coordinator is needed to train church members and other project stakeholders to create income through local income generating activities.

Through local churches, ministries of home based care, orphan care, leadership training, and youth prevention activities are all taking place. The role of income generating activities (IGA) within all these ministries has become increasingly vital at many levels.

You are needed to work with the local projects to assess the opportunities that could be developed, facilitate training in small business management, and oversee the IGAs which have started using 'seed funding' provided through Hope for AIDS.
