You can make an invaluable contribution as a medical doctor at Mukinge Hospital covering for a career doctor's absence. Mukinge Hospital is a referral hospital with more than 200 beds for a wide area of Zambia's northwest province.

Typically, you will be responsible for several wards of inpatients, along with the nursing ward-in-charge and the nursing staff. You will also serve as a consultant for questions that arise from the clinical officers (physician assistant-type practitioners) and registered nurses who are seeing patients in the outpatient department. You will have opportunities for ministry outside of the hospital duties, depending on your gifts, time, and wishes.
