In Ecuador, and especially in the Loja Province, religion is seen to be for women only. This belief has carried over to evangelical Christianity. If you are a man with a passion for reaching men with the Gospel, we could use YOU!

Men here need to see male believers living out their faith. They need male role models to show them how to be godly men and to walk with them, holding them accountable. In the Loja Province, most Ecuadorian males suffer from addiction to alcohol and gambling. Most are also unfaithful and/or abusive husbands and poor role models for their children.

Your ministry could involve anything that helps you build relationships with the men of the community. One way Ecuadorian males bond is through sports. They especially love soccer, both indoor and outdoor, basketball and ecua-volley (three on three with a high net). Through sports participation and sports training/coaching you could reach the virtually unreached and indifferent with the Truth that will change their lives and community for eternity.
