This is a golden opportunity for you to have valuable input into people's lives, both physically and spiritually. This primary health care position is located in the Northern Region of Ghana. The Community Health project is a joint project with the Bible Church of Africa, working in cooperation with Ghana Health Services. Possible aspects of community work are supervisory meetings with traditional birth attendants; training and supervising community selected volunteers in sanitation, child welfare clinics, and first aid for wounds. There is also a hand dug well project to provide clean water for communities.
