Asia is a vast continent where millions of people of diverse cultures and religions live side by side. It is the birthplace of both Hinduism and Buddhism, and home to the world's largest communist state. The need for the Gospel in Asia is huge. After the Seize the Day mission-wide review, Asia emerged as one of SIM's top ministry priorities.

While SIM has been working in Asia and sending missionaries from Asia for many years, God has opened up exciting partnership opportunities with like-minded organizations in Central and Southeast Asia, and there are many new avenues available for showing God's love to the millions of Asians who still have never heard of Jesus.
