" Mrica" has been a believer for many years, but his father-in-law, "Ashish," is a staunch religious leader in the community. For years he has prayed faithfully five times a day and has often preached to large crowds, denouncing Christians and their beliefs. Mrica has felt intimidated about sharing his faith with his father-in-law, who is now in his eighties.

One day Mrica's 16-year-old son took the Bible down off the shelf and gave it to his grandfather saying, "Grandpa, you are getting old. You should know what is in this book before you die."

Ashish read the entire book carefully, comparing passages and pondering the meaning. His opinion has completely changed, and he exclaims that most of the things he had heard and taught about Jesus were completely wrong. He marvels at the life of Jesus, and he now sees the Bible as true although he has not yet made a clear profession of faith in Jesus. He may have only a few more months to live.
