"I am the fetish priest of my clan. I conduct ceremonies for the children. Therefore when a child dies in the big family, my brothers accuse me of killing their children. Not long ago I had a fight with my younger brother who accused me of killing his son. They accused me of being a witchdoctor in their family. But my father left me only the power to be the guardian of the home, and I have not used it for killing others.

"Now my Savior rescued me. I am going to church and not doing the ceremonies for the children anymore. I am very happy, God has blessed me. I am not a fetish priest anymore, I am a child of God."

Through the UEEB (Union des Eglises Evangéliques du Bénin) church's Ditamari language radio broadcasts, this elderly man has found peace in his life. Before his transformation even the Christians feared him because of the evil he was doing as a witchdoctor.

Two weekly broadcasts in the Ditamari language are aired on national radio in Parakou, Benin.
