Sudanese Doctor Joining Doro Medical Team
20 March 2008
On March 19, a Sudanese doctor moved to Doro to join the SIM Sudan health team. She will join the staff of the Memorial Health Care Center. With the prayers and financial support of many Christians, Dr. Angelina was trained at the Africa Inland Church Kijabe Hospital. Angelina was raised in Khartoum and is the granddaughter of a Dinka chief. She is beginning a two-year term of service with the SIM team. "Pray for her," said Dr. Rob Condgon, SIM Sudan's Medical Director. "Living at the edge of the world in her own country will be a very great challenge for her faith." This month, thousands of Mabaan refugees will return to the Doro area, and the SIM Sudan health team is there to serve them with compassionate medical care. A healthcare worker training school is already underway, and renovations are being completed on the old SIM hospital buildings. Please pray
