SIM Korea Aims for Growth

Fifty new missionaries every year! That’s the recruitment goal SIM Korea is trusting God for by 2008. SIM Korea became a sending office of SIM International on October 2, 2000. Now they’re on an intentional growth track which has brought them to about 100 missionaries currently serving in 17 countries and 20 potential new candidates. The church in Korea is famous for its praying and for the globalization of its mission efforts. Between 1979 and 2003:
SIM Korea shares this commitment to prayer and mission and continues to build relationships with mission-minded churches. English Mission Training (EMT) camps and a year-round Mission Training Course bring SIM to the attention of Korean Christians who are exploring mission. (The 2004 EMT Camp resulted in 33 commitments for missionary work, not necessarily all with SIM.) In the pages of this magazine you’ll find stories about workers from SIM Korea.
