Theft

On March 1, our AM transmitter didn’t start at 6 a.m. as it should have. We drove up the mountain to discover the transmitter working quite happily. But, we found that someone had stolen some of the cabling! Give thanks that they have stolen very little (40 metres of copper cable and a couple of metres of copper tubing) and that the FM transmitter is not affected.

New Frequency

We had to change our FM frequency from 94.3 to 94.1MHz late last year. We’re going to “launch” our new frequency and celebrate one year on the air for the program “Fuego Extreme” on March 10. This will consist of a program and a couple of bands in a local theatre.
