Radio Hope Celebration a Success; AM Transmitter Still Disabled
14 March 2007

On March 10, Radio Hope held a gathering to officially launch their new FM frequency and celebrate the one-year anniversary of the youth program, Fuego Extreme.

The celebration was "quite an event," Radio Manager Christine Platt reports. "The theater was packed. The event was well organized, and quite a number of people came forward to say that they wanted to follow Christ. It was encouraging to see how well the committee organized everything and to know that the radio has given young people the opportunity to develop such organizational skills."

Unfortunately Radio Hope's AM transmitter has been unable to broadcast due to the theft of some cables. New copper cabling is being shipped, so please pray that it will arrive quickly and that Radio Hope can return to broadcasting on its AM frequency.

Please pray

  • for those who made a commitment to follow Christ.
  • for God to continue to use Radio Hope to tell people about the love of God.
  • for the AM broadcasts to be quickly restored.
