Project Manager Needed for Galmi Hospital Redevelopment
11 July 2007

The construction crew at Galmi Hospital begins their days early before the desert heat makes hard work nearly impossible.

By late July, the staff will move into the new housekeeping and employee facilities. But progress on the rest of the renovations has almost stopped. The short-term project manager was recently forced to return home for health reasons.

The Galmi Hospital Redevelopment Project is a comprehensive overhaul to the building that is nearly 60 years old. The sand, clay, and dirt mixed in with the rocks under the foundations have slowly washed away, leaving some major cracks in floors and walls. The renovations also include new 2-floor addition with a post-operative surgical ward, classrooms, and offices.

Please pray:

  • for God to restore the health of the project manager
  • for God to provide a new building manager
  • for safety for the construction crew
  • for God's financial provision to carry out the renovations
  • for many people to experience the love and healing of Christ through Galmi Hospital.
