Christians in more than sixty nations do not have full freedom to confess Jesus as Lord and Savior in our world. For this reason, every year, the Church across the globe sets aside one Sunday to remember those who are persecuted for their faith.

November 9, 2008 is the International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church. Please join us in praying for faithful Christians who are suffering for Christ.

Pray

• for God to protect his people from harm in nations that are hostile to the Gospel message.
• for those who are in prison to continue to hope in Christ and to be a courageous witness for him.
• for the governments that persecute Christians to change and allow religious freedom.
