"Have a nice life." Those were the words spoken to Ken Lloyd by his then girlfriend, Phyllis, when he first mentioned he was feeling called into missions! Phyllis quickly realized that Ken was on to something and they eventually married and began their amazing journey of serving God through SIM as missionaries.

Ken’s passion has always been sports — and once he became a believer, it was also Jesus. How do you combine the two? Ken was introduced to SIM’s Sports Friends ministry and quickly felt this was a perfect fit for him. As a result, lives are being changed by God’s power and the common international passion — sports, and sports is one door he uses to gain entry into people’s hearts.
