The print shop of the Amharic Pastors' Book Set project has been busy printing 40 books to distribute to Ethiopian church leaders later this year. |
|
As the start of Ethiopian Amharic Pastors' Book Set (PBS) Conferences draws near, the office in Addis Ababa has become a "bee hive of activity," Kurt Michler, Ethiopia PBS director reports. In December, the print shop moved to a new location, but everything is running smoothly. With this move, the old print shop space has been converted to warehouse space to store the books as they are printed.
Twenty conferences are scheduled to take place throughout Ethiopia beginning in April.
The evidence of God's provision has been amazing:
- Because the printing of the 38 books of the Amharic set was completed under budget, two more books are being added to the sets.
- Every Home Crusade of Northern Ireland (also known as Revival Movement Association) donated 10,000 illustrated children's Bible lessons that arrived unharmed, despite the delivery truck breaking down two times.
- The The Bible Society of New South Wales (Australia) will be partnering with SIM in the distribution of the books at the conferences
Please pray
- for the conference speakers as they prepare their messages and make travel arrangements.
- for Minas, who is working to publicize conferences among Ethiopian pastors and serving as liaison between the PBS staff and the churches that will host the conferences.
- for the remaining funding to be provided for this project. Currently, 63% of the funds have been raised.
