Prayer updates: East Africa Famine
23 August 2011

Pray

  • for children who are too weak to run and play
  • for parents watching their children suffer
  • for local churches who are stepping into the crisis with courage and sacrifice, even as they too are suffering
  • for SIM workers who come alongside with timely words and action
  • for governments to fulfill their responsibilities towards their citizens
  • for Jesus Christ to be present and glorified in every act of compassion

If God is leading you to help, please give to project KE 92601 online or contact your nearest SIM office. Thank you and God bless.

11 August 2011: Pray with us for the enormous logistics behind emergency food relief efforts. Pray that team members would have clear thinking, stamina, thoroughness, excellent working relationships, and that each person would find hope in the truth that we can do nothing in our own strength. May the Lord be glorified in the midst of our emergency food relief distribution!
