  The Christian Teacher Training
seminars have equipped teachers like
the founders of Cornerstone to teach
with a Christian worldview.

The Niamey Cornerstone Christian School, fruit of the Niger General Education project, is scheduled to open the first week of November. The founding group is made up of Nigerien teachers who caught the vision for Christian education after the first teacher training seminars offered in August of 2006.

Pray

  • for the opening of the kindergarten level, scheduled for November 3rd. Pray for the 24 students needed to cover salaries of teachers and expenses. To date there are 10 students enrolled.
  • for the Cornerstone administration to have wisdom, God's priorities, and strength. They all have other full time jobs to support their families and do Cornerstone ministry as volunteers after work hours.
  • thanking God that Cornerstone was able to pay the 300,000 cfa for the Creation of School fees and have received a receipt in the name of Cornerstone Private Evangelical School. Pray that the final papers will be granted soon.
  • for a subcommittee who has been researching Christian education rights in Niger as they prepare a document for Christian schools explaining their rights and responsibilities.
