Who I am:

I am a 24 year old who loves Jesus, writing, photography, and working with children of all abilities. I currently work with preschool and elementary age children who have Autism. Four years ago I found out I have genetic hearing loss that could leave me deaf if not for the grace of technology such as hearing aids and cochlear implants (if my loss progresses). I am so thankful that God has entrusted hearing loss to me-- it has opened my heart to his love, compassion, and steadfastness in countless ways. My prayer is that I continue to seek Him in all my opportunities and trials.

What I do:

I will be volunteering with another SIMpacter at Tenderfeet, a school for children from Kibera, near Nairobi. We will be teaching the youngest ages in Bible and Art.
